I have not purchased a new coat for myself since 2005. The last one I had was a brown puffer coat with a faux fur-lined hood. The feathers are coming out. The cuffs are stained. So I splurged and got this new one with some birthday money.
(I cannot explain what's happening in this photo, but the coat looks cute.)

Feelin' pretty good about wearing the colors of my favorite season all winter long.
